Based on the new structure of University of Tehran, the structure of the University-College of Agriculture and Natural Resources underwent a fundamental transformation in the summer of 1401. Based on the new structure, the Faculties of Agricultural Sciences and Engineering, Agricultural Engineering and Technology, and Faculty of Economics and Agricultural Development were combined and the new Faculty of Agriculture was established. The former University-College of Abureihan joined the University-College of Agriculture and Natural Resources and was renamed as Faculty of Agricultural Technology. The Faculty of Natural Resources remained as a faculty under the University College of Agriculture and Natural Resources of University of Tehran as it was.
